Role Overview

The Internal Compliance Associate will assist the Internal Compliance Manager with executing daily compliance operations throughout Miral's managed parks and attractions. This role is critical in ensuring observance of internal policies, operational protocols, and regulatory standards while identifying areas for process enhancement and fostering a strong compliance culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct unannounced cash counts, float checks, and vault audits across various parks and attractions.
• Perform scheduled inventory verifications within retail and warehouse units.
• Oversee stock assessments and control wastage in Food & Beverage departments.
• Analyze F&B and Retail refund, void, and wastage reports thoroughly.
• Contribute to investigations involving compliance issues and policy breaches.
• Carry out operational inspections to verify ride operators follow established safety guidelines.
• Track and confirm timely completion of ride maintenance activities.
• Collaborate on developing and refining compliance monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Examine compliance data to identify non-conformities and prepare detailed reports.
• Support generating prompt and accurate compliance documentation.
• Assist in administrative tasks pertinent to the compliance department.
• Travel as necessary between parks, warehouses, and operational sites to fulfill duties.
• Participate in special projects and compliance initiatives as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Completion or near completion of the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) credential.

Preferred:

• Professional certifications such as CISA, ACFE, CIMA, or ACCA.

Experience

Required:

• At least three years in Internal Audit, Compliance, or similar assurance roles.

Preferred:

• Experience with a Big 4 auditing firm.
• Background in hospitality, leisure, entertainment, or theme park sectors.
