Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and driven Interface Manager to join our team for a major road infrastructure project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience working on large infrastructure projects involving highways, bridges, railways, metro systems, airports, or transportation sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing interfaces within complex environments involving multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Experienced in liaising with government bodies, utility companies, consultants, and principal contractors.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies including risk and change management as well as stakeholder engagement techniques.
• Strong skills in analysis, negotiation, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
• Capability to handle several interfaces simultaneously while prioritizing project timelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and dedicated project management tools.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Prior involvement in Middle Eastern, especially Saudi Arabian projects is highly advantageous.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and synchronize technical, contractual, and operational interfaces among various project participants such as clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, utility providers, and government authorities.
• Create, execute, and sustain the Interface Management Plan throughout all project phases.
• Identify, record, monitor, and resolve interface conflicts across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Facilitate interface coordination meetings ensuring prompt resolution of interface-related actions and associated risks.
• Maintain a detailed interface register to track agreements, responsibilities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design aspects involving roads, bridges, utilities, traffic, drainage, electrical, mechanical, and landscaping systems.
• Supervise third-party and utility interfaces to maintain alignment with the project timeline and technical standards.
• Work in close collaboration with planning, engineering, construction, project control, and commercial teams to reduce interface-related risks.
• Promote effective communication and information sharing among all project stakeholders to aid decision making and problem solving.
• Assist in managing design modifications, technical queries, constraints, and stakeholder requirements impacting project execution.
• Prepare periodic interface status reports, risk evaluations, executive summaries, and presentations for management review.
• Ensure all interfaces comply with contractual requirements, project procedures, governance standards, and client expectations.
