Role Overview

We are expanding our global institutional sales division. This role involves collaborating closely with founders and research teams to deliver our industry-leading AI research product to demanding buy-side and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead institutional client growth within your assigned region, engaging hedge funds, long-only funds, multi-manager pods, and corporate strategy teams.
  • Directly engage with Chief Investment Officers, Portfolio Managers, and sector analysts to convert inbound leads and proactively generate outbound opportunities through your network.
  • Manage the entire sales process: from discovery and product demonstration through trials, commercial negotiations, and closure.
  • Handle buy-side and corporate procurement and compliance procedures, including due diligence questionnaires, material non-public information walls, and contractual agreements such as master services agreements and order forms.
  • Collaborate with research and product teams to align client needs with product development and priorities.

Candidate Profile

  • Location options include the UK (London), US (New York City, Boston, San Francisco), or Singapore.
  • Preferably 5 to 10 years of experience selling to buy-side institutional clients such as hedge funds, long-only funds, and multi-manager pods; exceptional candidates with 3 to 5 years will be considered.
  • Established relationships with Portfolio Managers and CIOs, relevant to the regional base:
    • US: Clients like Citadel, Millennium, Point72, Schonfeld, ExodusPoint, large long/short funds, and long-only firms.
    • UK/Europe: Hedge funds, long-only funds, family offices, and allocators in London, Zurich, Frankfurt, and Paris.
    • Singapore/APAC: APAC hedge funds, long-only funds, and corporate teams within semiconductor firms including TSMC, ASML, SK hynix, Samsung, and Micron.
  • Background experience from independent or sell-side research, corporate access, expert networks (such as GLG, Tegus, AlphaSights, Third Bridge), alternative data, Bloomberg, AlphaSense, FactSet, or market intelligence firms (Gartner, TrendForce, SemiAnalysis) is advantageous for Singapore-based applicants.
  • Strong familiarity with buy-side compliance procedures, MNPI protections, and vendor onboarding; MiFID II knowledge preferred for those based in the UK.
  • Fluent English is required; native or near-native proficiency. Additional language skills valuable: Mandarin, Korean, Japanese (Singapore); German, French, Italian (UK).
  • A strong belief in AI transforming professional investment practices and a keen interest in capital markets.
