PROPELLER is an AI-driven cross-border venture builder connecting global technology ecosystems with China's rapid supply chain and innovation landscape. This November, we are hosting The Arch, an exclusive 3-week curated residency in Shanghai uniting global founders, top investors, and corporate leaders to access China's forefront of AI and hardware innovation.
Role Overview
We seek a skilled Innovation Project Manager to co-lead the delivery of The Arch, ensuring seamless execution and a premium experience for international residents. The role involves comprehensive operational management, stakeholder coordination, and experience curation, plus nurturing ongoing venture-building collaborations post-event. This position is hybrid with a preference for Shanghai-based candidates, offering flexibility to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of The Arch including scheduling, logistics, company site visits, private seminars, and networking events throughout the residency.
- Serve as the main liaison between global attendees, local technology partners, and PROPELLER’s internal team to facilitate smooth communication and operations.
- Design and maintain an exclusive, high-quality atmosphere avoiding large crowded events, focusing instead on meaningful, intimate interactions.
- Convert relationships fostered during The Arch into lasting venture-building opportunities within PROPELLER’s expanding ecosystem.

Candidate Profile
- Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin with a deep understanding of both Silicon Valley’s mindset and China’s rapid innovation tempo.
- Extremely organized and flexible, capable of managing complex schedules and adapting to changing circumstances typical in startup environments.
- High emotional intelligence and professionalism, comfortable engaging with C-level executives, investors, and visionary founders; proven experience handling multifaceted, international projects preferably related to technology or innovation.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ownership drive, eager to contribute beyond task execution and help build the company.
- Familiarity or strong interest in AI technologies, robotics, and emerging innovation trends with willingness to quickly learn in a fast-paced environment.
