About the Role and Team
Uber Health is an expanding branch within Uber for Business, aiming to become a premier global platform for healthcare transportation. In the U.S., nearly six million people annually miss or postpone medical appointments due to transportation challenges. Our mission is to eliminate these logistical hurdles and address social determinants impacting health, thereby improving healthcare efficiency, lowering costs through better appointment adherence, and enhancing patient well-being. This is accomplished by leveraging Uber's unique assets to provide HIPAA-compliant, on-demand transportation solutions at scale to healthcare partners and consumers.
Role Overview
The Implementation Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire client launch journey and plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and product success. This position demands strong discovery capabilities, high-level communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple cross-functional stakeholders within client organizations to drive adoption and sustained use of Uber Health and Uber for Business offerings. Working under the Head of Implementation, you will design and execute high-touch onboarding for major healthcare organizations across the U.S., combining consultative solutions and project management to tailor features including API integrations to client-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions with partners to align Uber Health and Uber for Business products with their operational workflows.
- Manage technical account configuration and activation by collaborating with internal and external teams to enhance customer experience and impact.
- Create and deliver customized program resources, such as training materials and client communications, to ensure readiness and expedite launch.
- Monitor post-launch usage metrics against targets, identifying and escalating adoption challenges to relevant stakeholders to achieve revenue goals.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data including customer feedback and usage trends to identify opportunities for product and client impact improvement.
- Serve as a customer advocate by providing insights and recommendations to product development, sales, marketing, operations, and support teams.
- Continuously refine playbooks, tools, and processes to drive operational excellence and streamlined workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least six years of relevant experience in B2B healthcare or technology sectors within the U.S.
- Proven leadership in managing complex B2B implementations involving cross-functional client teams (Finance, IT, Operations) and internal departments (Product, Sales, Support).
- Background in project, program management, or learning and development.
- Strong data literacy and fluency.

Additional Information
This role may require up to 35% travel to support onsite relationship-building and launch coordination. Employees based in Chicago, IL can expect a salary range of $107,000 to $119,000 annually. For roles in New York City, San Francisco, and Washington, DC, the base salary ranges between $119,000 and $132,000 yearly. Full-time employees are eligible for bonus programs, equity awards, 401(k) plans, and other benefits.
