Housekeeping Attendant

About the Role

The Housekeeping Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of guest rooms and common public spaces within the hotel. Working under the direction of Supervisors and following hotel procedures, this role ensures a welcoming and spotless environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather keys and daily assignments, prepare cleaning trolley and necessary equipment to ensure smooth and timely completion of assigned duties.
• Clean guest rooms thoroughly while replenishing room supplies as per the hotel's established Standards of Performance.
• Maintain bathrooms in guest rooms by cleaning and restocking items, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Organize and neatly arrange guest belongings during cleaning of rooms and bathrooms.
• Coordinate with Valet Service to collect guest clothing requiring laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Clean and maintain guest corridors, service pantries, and other service areas to present a professional appearance.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department to ensure proper upkeep of the facilities.
• Consider and fulfill guest requirements while working in public and private guest areas, always providing courteous service.
• Follow and maintain environmental, health, and safety standards aligned with organizational policies and procedures.
