Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver considerate non-medical support aligned with each client’s customized Care Plan.
• Provide companionship through engaging activities such as conversation, reading, and social interaction.
• Support clients' emotional wellness and cognitive alertness.
• Carry out light housekeeping duties including vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Prepare nutritious meals for clients as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition promptly.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and team members.
• Accurately complete necessary documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate actively in training sessions, staff meetings, and ongoing educational opportunities.
• Strictly uphold client confidentiality and safely operate equipment.
• Perform any additional related tasks assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma.
• Possession of valid CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain and maintain it.
• Successful Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with insurance is an asset.
• Punctual, dependable, and dedicated to providing excellent client care.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills alongside the ability to follow both written and verbal guidance.
• Demonstrates genuine passion for helping others with high ethical standards and integrity.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regular physical activities that include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and light lifting up to 12 kg (25 lbs).
• Requires manual dexterity and strength in both hands.
• Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens or infectious illnesses may occur.
