Role Overview

The Housekeeper will ensure that all buildings remain clean, organized, and well-maintained. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning tasks such as floor care, carpet shampooing, restroom sanitation and restocking, washing surfaces including walls and glass, furniture upkeep, waste management, and occasional routine maintenance checks with communication to maintenance teams regarding necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties throughout office facilities including sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, and carpet shampooing.
• Dispose of garbage and manage recycling efforts efficiently.
• Clean and stock restroom supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of light fixtures and replace bulbs or tubes when necessary.
• Handle linen distribution and management.
• Make beds and reset rooms appropriately.
• Maintain common areas and facility environment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Provide feedback on cleaning supply and equipment needs.
• Liaise with maintenance personnel to report and monitor repair requirements.
• Ensure adequate inventory levels of cleaning materials.
• Monitor cleaning quality and provide training when required.
• Carry out other duties as delegated.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in housekeeping is an advantage.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and correct use of cleaning equipment and materials.
• Strong communication skills.
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving climbing stepladders, bending, stooping, reaching overhead, and crawling.
