This historic landmark combines a rich past with modern hospitality, offering guests memorable experiences and timeless moments.

Role Overview

As a Kitchen Porter, reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Food and Beverage operations by maintaining cleanliness and preparation of kitchen equipment and utensils to ensure smooth service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently carry out cleaning duties to prepare all crockery, dishware, mise en place, and cooking equipment crucial for food and beverage service.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage in food preparation and storage areas adhering to Food Hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
• Assist with unloading deliveries, ensuring correct storage of equipment and food items according to procedures.
• Keep storerooms and bin rooms orderly and operational.
• Support sustainability efforts through the proper disposal and management of waste.
• Adapt to variable shifts and working hours as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Availability to work a range of shifts (mornings, days, evenings) totaling 40 hours per week across five days.
• A positive, proactive approach to tasks with strong hands-on commitment.
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned work areas.
• Capability for problem-solving, and well-developed organizational and storage skills.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to work effectively with team members.
