Job description
Role Summary
We are recruiting a Hindi Language Specialist to operate on a contract basis from any location, preferably based in the US or Canada. This position focuses on assessing and enhancing Hindi language datasets for AI training, ensuring linguistic precision and cultural suitability.
Primary Responsibilities
- Examine and authenticate Hindi linguistic data to maintain quality, uniformity, and appropriateness.
- Detect and amend grammatical, syntactical, and semantic inaccuracies within Hindi texts.
- Evaluate cultural suitability of Hindi content for intended demographics.
- Deliver insights on linguistic subtleties to improve AI model accuracy.
- Engage with data teams to augment and refine Hindi datasets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Hindi and English languages.
- Excellent written Hindi competence, including expert use of grammar and sentence structure.
- Meticulous attention towards spotting linguistic errors and inconsistencies.
- Capacity to judge cultural context and appropriateness in Hindi material.
- Preferably experienced in language data analysis or linguistic annotation tasks.
