Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across Bitcoin mining data centers located in Texas to ensure operational stability and maximum uptime.
• Develop, implement, and enhance operational processes, standards, and performance indicators to drive efficiency.
• Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring optimal functioning of power, cooling, networking, and mining hardware.
• Lead hardware deployments, repairs, replacements, and expand capacity when necessary.
• Guide and manage local operations managers, technicians, and maintenance personnel, fostering a culture focused on safety and performance.
• Analyze operational metrics to pinpoint opportunities for performance optimization including equipment availability and energy use.
• Manage incident handling, including response strategies and post-mortem evaluations, maintaining compliance with relevant company and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with teams such as Engineering, Infrastructure, Procurement, Finance, and Product to support expansion initiatives and new site launches.
• Coordinate effectively with hardware suppliers and external contractors to maintain seamless operation.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years experience overseeing large-scale data center, industrial, or critical infrastructure operations.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role managing operational teams.
• In-depth knowledge of mission-critical infrastructure components including electrical systems, cooling, networking, and hardware operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple teams, vendors, and operational key performance indicators.
• Demonstrated success in enhancing operational reliability and efficiency.
• Strong analytical mindset paired with problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent leadership qualities and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel between data center sites as required.
• Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Bitcoin mining or high-performance computing operations.
• Background managing large-scale electrical infrastructure.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, energy sectors, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale data centers.
• History of managing operations across multiple sites.
• Familiarity with industrial safety and compliance standards.
