Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking highly experienced Haskell Functional Developers or Engineers to join our Professional Services and High-Tech Practice divisions. The ideal candidates should possess 6 to 12 years of professional experience and demonstrate strong expertise in Haskell programming within production environments.
Work Locations
This role is available at multiple locations including Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Noida, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Bhopal, and Madurai.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop and maintain high-quality Haskell-based software solutions.
- Employ advanced language features such as GHC extensions, Generalized Algebraic Data Types (GADTs), Type Families, and type-level programming techniques.
- Design and implement embedded Domain Specific Languages (eDSLs) and apply functional programming principles effectively.
- Utilize concurrent programming constructs like Software Transactional Memory (STM), asynchronous processing, MVars, and TVars.
- Build web services and applications leveraging frameworks like Servant, Yesod, and Scotty.
- Implement property-based testing using tools such as QuickCheck and Hedgehog.
- Participate in containerization, continuous integration, and deployment workflows using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Manage project dependencies and builds with Stack, Cabal, and Nix; apply functional lenses for cleaner code management.
Preferred Additional Technological Experience
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain or Quantitative Finance.
- Exposure to functional programming languages like Scala, F#, OCaml, or PureScript.
- Familiarity with blockchain development frameworks such as Cardano/Plutus.
