Role Overview
Pinnacle Group seeks a skilled Handy Person to become a vital member of the Total Facilities Management team. This role focuses on ensuring thorough upkeep and maintenance of buildings at three Extra Care Contracts mainly located in Hull HU7, with occasional duties in HU3 and HU6.

Our Facilities Management team provides comprehensive management of assets and maintenance services across multiple sectors including education, leisure, corporate, health, and residential. We strive to maintain highly efficient, safe, and smooth-operating environments that meet client needs.
Working Hours and Benefits
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm, and Fridays until 4:30pm. Flexibility is essential as the role involves occasional evening and weekend coverage during busy periods. Additionally, you will participate in a rotating call-out schedule, offering support one week in every five. A shared automatic electric company van will be available for your duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize labor coordination for vacant sites and inform management where contractor involvement is necessary.
- Ensure all programmed statutory maintenance tasks are completed to high standards on schedule.
- Conduct compliance activities such as Legionella (L8) Water Hygiene testing, fire and sprinkler system checks, fire door inspections, and emergency lighting maintenance.
- Collaborate with Facilities and Contract Managers to improve reactive maintenance processes efficiently.
- Perform any additional reasonable management duties fitting your skills and role scope.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a valid Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- A willingness to undergo training to upskill in electrical, plumbing, and fabric maintenance is important.
- Relevant understanding of health and safety standards, building codes, and legal requirements.
- Successful candidates must pass a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) background check.
