Overview

Michael Page is working with a respected local government entity in Midland, Western Australia, to find a Graphic Designer for a short-term contract. This role involves crafting a variety of visual materials that support community programs, marketing drives, and promotional events, ensuring strong brand alignment and quality output in both print and digital formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and design diverse visual communication assets including signage, posters, brochures, flyers, and promotional graphics.
• Develop creative materials for community events, programs, and marketing campaigns that resonate with targeted audiences.
• Collaborate effectively with the marketing team to maintain brand consistency across all produced content.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to accurately capture project needs and deliver tailored design solutions.
• Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously, prioritising and meeting strict deadlines without compromising quality.
• Ensure all creative outputs meet established standards for consistency and excellence.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Graphic Designer, preferably with a portfolio demonstrating relevant skills.
• Experience within local government or public sector contexts is an advantage.
• Strong communication abilities to foster collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
• Proven capability to handle a high workload and prioritise competing deadlines effectively.
• Skilled in creating artwork suitable for both print and digital media channels.
• Capacity to work independently while positively contributing to a team environment.
• Familiarity with public sector procedures and community engagement is beneficial.
