Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative designs, layouts, and concepts for print and catalog advertisements.
• Edit and prepare images for print, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Review and refine layouts, offering improvement suggestions as needed.
• Adjust designs to suit targeted audiences and intended messaging goals.
• Maintain consistency with Scheels’ brand style guide across all marketing materials including posters, brochures, and signage.
• Engage actively in weekly team meetings to discuss projects and strategies.
• Collaborate with leadership to address challenges and clarify questions.
• Plan and execute project tasks punctually, adapting plans when necessary to accommodate evolving requirements.
• Achieve personal and team objectives, assisting colleagues to reach their goals.
• Demonstrate proficiency in graphic design techniques and layout principles.
• Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word for document preparation and data handling.
• Support other graphic design initiatives as needed.

• Preferred candidates hold an Associate of Applied Science (AAS), Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design, or related field.
• Between one to three years of experience in graphic design is desirable.
• Physical ability to perform sedentary tasks involving occasional light lifting up to 10 pounds; includes sitting, standing, bending, climbing, and other movements with or without accommodations.
• Commit to all health and safety guidelines to minimize injury risk.
