About the Role

We seek a highly motivated Graduate Engineer Trainee in Mechanical Engineering to join our team based at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. This full-time position is ideal for fresh engineering graduates aiming to develop skills across manufacturing, design, maintenance, quality assurance, process enhancement, and project execution. The candidate will receive structured training and mentorship from senior engineers to build practical engineering acumen and problem-solving capabilities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support senior engineers with daily mechanical engineering tasks encompassing production, maintenance, design, quality assurance, and project work.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, technical specifications, and process documentation effectively.
  • Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems.
  • Engage in root-cause analyses, troubleshooting efforts, and continuous improvement projects aimed at boosting productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Execute fundamental engineering calculations along with data gathering, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, purchasing, stores, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless task execution.
  • Participate in inspection, testing, and quality validation of mechanical components and processes.
  • Adhere to company standards including safety protocols, 5S methodologies, and quality management systems.
  • Contribute to project planning, monitoring, vendor coordination, and the preparation of technical documentation.
  • Take responsibility for assigned training modules, improvement initiatives, and performance goals throughout the trainee period.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree (B.E. or B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or closely related fields such as Automobile, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Fresh graduates or applicants with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Strong academic background with a solid grasp of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
  • Basic proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, fabrication, casting, forging, and assembly.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement tools such as 5S, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, the seven QC tools, and inspection techniques.
  • Competence in using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting purposes.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, tolerance specifications, symbols, and bills of materials.

Reporting

The position reports to the Department Head, Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, or an assigned mentor depending on the functional area.

  • Recently graduated mechanical engineer with robust technical fundamentals.
  • Experience through projects, internships, or industrial training is advantageous.
  • Interest in areas such as manufacturing, product design, quality control, maintenance, automation, or process enhancement.
