General Manager - HRO

Role Overview

This position is responsible for steering the full lifecycle of US HRO operations, with direct ownership of payroll, benefits administration, and retirement services. The role calls for strong strategic direction to keep service delivery effective, compliant, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the US HRO operations function and ensure the team delivers high-quality service, meets client expectations, and follows applicable regulatory requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end operational areas such as onboarding, employee data handling, benefits administration, front-office and back-office processes, and exit management.
• Work with internal teams such as Presales and Solutions to support RFP and RFI responses for prospective clients, making sure submissions are accurate and competitive.

Qualifications

• Applicants should hold a graduate degree or a postgraduate degree in any discipline.
• The role expects at least 16 years of professional experience, including substantial hands-on expertise in US payroll, benefits, and retirement operations within HRO in the BPO sector.
• Working knowledge of HR and service delivery platforms such as PeopleSoft, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and JIRA is required.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The position focuses on operational leadership, client service quality, and compliance across US HRO processes.
