Job Location and Employment Details
- Worksite located in Princeton, BC, with relocation required; no rotation.
- Permanent full-time position.
- Work schedule: Thursday through Monday, 8-hour shifts.
- Salary range: $20.41 to $22.68 per hour, dependent on experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- 4% pension contributions fully funded by the employer.

Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations of the composting facility under Project Manager supervision.
- Support machine operators and contribute to yard maintenance such as sweeping, shoveling, mowing, and debris removal.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the facility.
- Wash and maintain fleet equipment.
- Comply with all workplace safety policies and support hazard identification.
- Assist with environmental compliance procedures.
- Adjust daily tasks and schedules to meet operational priorities.
- Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.
- Suggest improvements to working conditions and equipment use to boost yard and shop efficiency.
- Cross-train on all facility functions.
- Potentially travel to other facilities as required.
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Support completion of documentation and daily recordkeeping.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisors or management.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Level 1 First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Strong safety and quality focus with careful attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions reliably.
- Knowledge of equipment operation and basic maintenance is an advantage.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Dependable, accountable, and maintaining a positive work attitude.
