General Assistant

About the Role

Pepkor Lifestyle invites motivated and dependable individuals to join our Francistown store team as General Assistants. This position involves supporting daily retail functions through maintaining cleanliness, ensuring compliance with standards, organizing stock and displays, and delivering outstanding customer service. Collaboration with team members to foster a productive environment is a key element of this role.

Primary Duties

• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen, restroom, and store areas adhering to OHASA standards, keeping aisles tidy and displays secure.
• Handle stock by unpacking deliveries, shelving products, performing inventory counts, placing promotional materials, applying suite treatments, and reporting any stock loss or damage.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting with queries and resolving conflicts, surpassing customer expectations per service guidelines.
• Manage daily workload effectively, nurture positive relationships among colleagues, and engage in continuous personal skills development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4).
• Minimum of one year experience in a general workplace role.
• Familiarity with OHASA legislation, retail customer service procedures, and store operating policies.
• Strong communication, time management, multitasking ability, attention to detail, interpersonal relations, and problem-solving aptitude.
