About the Company and Role
Located in Dubai, UAE, we are a progressive law firm committed to delivering outstanding legal services. To support our expansion, we seek a dependable and meticulous General Accountant to oversee daily financial operations and contribute to the firm's growth.
Key Duties
- Manage daily bookkeeping and invoicing, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring precise data entry and prompt client billing.
- Oversee VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, filing requirements, and stay current on UAE tax legislation.
- Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations regularly to verify financial records' accuracy.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, cash flow statements, and budget deviation analyses for management.
- Employ accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel functions to enhance financial workflows.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of two years accounting experience in the UAE, ideally within professional services or legal sectors.
- Proficiency with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or equivalents, alongside advanced Excel capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail, effective organizational abilities, and ethical handling of confidential financial information.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
