Role summary

This contract opportunity is for a Frontend Web Developer focused on HTML and CSS. The work is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere while building and supporting responsive user interfaces for a client project.

What you will do

Create and update front-end interface components with HTML, CSS, and closely related tools.
Make sure layouts work smoothly across major browsers and adapt well to different screen sizes.
Work alongside design teams to turn visual mockups into accurate, functional UI components.
Improve front-end speed, usability, and accessibility.
Take part in code reviews and help uphold solid development practices.

Skills and qualifications needed

Strong hands-on experience with HTML and CSS, including semantic markup best practices.
Comfort with responsive design and mobile-first implementation.
Exposure to CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS, or utility/framework-based styling such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
Ability to use browser developer tools and troubleshooting methods to debug layout and styling issues.
Experience converting designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools into working interfaces.
