About the Role
As a Front Desk Agent at Studio M Hotel Al Barsha, your main goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests throughout their stay. You will efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures, attend to guest inquiries, and ensure their visit is smooth and pleasant. Maintaining accurate guest records and managing reservations will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with other hotel departments is essential to meet guest expectations and provide excellent service with a friendly and professional approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service to ensure guests have a satisfying experience from arrival until departure.
- Personally welcome guests by name when possible and escort them to their rooms to enhance their sense of hospitality.
- Assist guests with hotel and in-room orientations and respond to inquiries about hotel activities and services.
- Remain knowledgeable about hotel details, local services, including operating times, current promotions, events, and attractions to assist guest requests effectively.
- Monitor daily room rates and occupancy levels to support informed decisions.
- Follow established Front Desk cashiering procedures to precisely process incidental charges using computerized Front Office systems.
- Ensure proper account management from check-in to check-out with accurate posting of incidentals.
- Protect guest confidentiality by not disclosing any guest information.
- Have a strong understanding of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, and comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities and events.
- Maintain compliance with the company’s environmental, health, and safety policies and guidelines.
