Role Overview

This freelance, part-time position focuses on designing compelling pitch decks and elegant one-pagers tailored to specific audiences. Candidates will leverage expertise in visual communication, information hierarchy, and storytelling, transforming raw data and narratives into captivating slides using tools like PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing, high-stakes pitch decks and professional one-pagers rooted in concise audience targeting.
• Convey complex data through minimalist design and clear information hierarchy to enhance storytelling clarity.
• Enhance presentations utilizing custom typography, sophisticated animations, and consistent visual aesthetics.
• Maintain a polished, persuasive style blending corporate professionalism with creative artistry across deliverables.
• Ensure formatting quality by meticulously verifying alignment, pacing, and adherence to brand standards before final submission.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in graphic or presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization preferred.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related fields is advantageous.
• Demonstrated portfolio featuring advanced presentations, pitch decks, and data visualizations beyond simple templates.
• A detail-oriented and methodical professional capable of independently translating complex narratives into premium visuals.

Technical Proficiencies

• Advanced skills in presentation software such as PowerPoint and Keynote, including complex animations.
• Expertise in design applications including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma for custom graphic creation.
• Strong aptitude for data and information design ensuring clear, minimalist visual storytelling of layered content.
• Proficient in typography, focusing on integrating custom fonts and smooth animations to achieve premium results.

Additional Requirements

• Experience producing high-end premium layouts combining corporate and creative elements.
• Keen attention to detail and an uncompromising commitment to visual excellence.
• Self-motivated with an ability to independently navigate and resolve design challenges.
• Upper-intermediate or higher proficiency in English (B2 level or above).
• Submission of a CV with a portfolio link showcasing relevant high-level presentations and visual storytelling work is mandatory; applications without these will not be reviewed.

Project Time Commitment and Compensation

The workload during active project phases is expected to be approximately 10-20 hours weekly, though this is variable and not guaranteed. Compensation can reach up to $50 per hour equivalent, depending on contributor expertise and work pace. Rates may differ across projects depending on complexity and requirements.
