Food Counter Attendant

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable Food Counter Attendant to join our team at KFC Canada in Cold Lake, Alberta. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, assisting customers with orders, and supporting kitchen and dining operations in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided for candidates without previous experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Sanitize and clean items including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• Clear and clean tables, chairs, and trays after customer use.
• Load buspans and trays efficiently.
• Restock condiments and supplies at tables and service areas.
• Package take-out food orders accurately.
• Attend to customers at counters or buffet sections.
• Take and process customer orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
• Properly handle and store cleaning materials.
• Dispose of kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.

Equipment Experience

• Operate electronic cash registers.

Transportation

• Possession of reliable personal transportation is required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment effectively.
• Comfortable managing tasks under pressure.

Employment Details

• Permanent position.
• Work shifts available in morning, day, and evening.
• Work hours approximately between 30 and 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications
