Overview
Staff Power Group is proud to partner with an award-winning print company recognized for excellence, innovation, and outstanding customer service. They are currently expanding and seeking an experienced Folding Operator skilled in operating MBO and Heidelberg Stahl folding machines to join their busy manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and efficiently operate MBO and Heidelberg Stahl 56 folding machines to maximize productivity and ensure quality standards.
- Produce diverse folded print items such as brochures, leaflets, book sections, and direct mail components.
- Interpret production job tickets accurately and complete all assigned tasks according to specifications.
- Continuously monitor production quality, performing regular checks to uphold the highest standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues promptly to reduce downtime.
- Collaborate closely with finishing department colleagues to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience operating MBO and Heidelberg Stahl folding machines in a print environment is essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial print finishing processes.
- Ability to set up complex fold patterns independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to high-quality output.
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Positive attitude and readiness to support the broader production team as needed.
