Floor Technician

Overview

TouchPoint Support Services is actively seeking a full-time Floor Technician to join their team at Ascension St Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a healing environment by providing outstanding floor maintenance and restoration services.

Work Schedule and Location

The position requires working full-time hours, primarily scheduled between 11:00 pm to 7:30 am or 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with some variability in days. Applications are accepted exclusively online.

Role Responsibilities

• Maintain and apply knowledge of hard surface floor care methods including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care machinery effectively and safely.
• Utilize automated equipment to clean large floor areas efficiently.
• Perform carpet and upholstery maintenance tasks such as shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Conduct maintenance and restorative procedures suitable for diverse floor surfaces.
• Carry out additional tasks as delegated by management.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in floor care technician roles is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in operating floor maintenance equipment and applying appropriate floor care techniques.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
• Physical capability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this role ranges between $16.75 and $17.75.
