About the Role
A confidential international financial institution located in Frankfurt am Main is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Analyst to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent chance for a finance professional with background in financial services to expand expertise across accounting, financial control, and regulatory reporting in an international finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and support periodic financial reporting.
- Assist in financial control, product control, management reporting, and operational control tasks.
- Handle accounts payable processes and support procurement-related activities.
- Support internal and external audits and assist in tax-related procedures.
- Contribute to regulatory reporting processes including IFR/WpIG and Bundesbank requirements.
- Participate in preparation of financial and regulatory disclosures.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to streamline processes and ensure precise reporting.
Candidate Profile
- 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance within a financial institution.
- Experience in supporting financial reporting, accounting operations or financial control functions.
- Knowledge of regulatory and financial reporting standards is beneficial.
- Fluency in both English and German at business level.
- Proactive, dependable, organized, with a strong focus on accuracy and independent problem-solving.
- Seeking a stable, long-term role oriented towards career growth over short-term contracts.
Working Conditions
- Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid, with a minimum of three office days per week.
- Contract type: Permanent with a six-month probationary period.
- Hours: Part-time, typically 50% to 70% workload.
- Salary range: €45,000 to €80,000 full-time equivalent, negotiable based on experience.
- Start date: Expected from 1 December 2026.
