Responsibilities

Serve as the main finance liaison for one brand, overseeing financial control, precise reporting, and delivering commercial insights to aid daily operations.
Collaborate closely with Planning, Retail, General Management, and Ecommerce teams to inform business decisions and enhance performance.
Manage comprehensive financial reporting, including weekly, monthly, and bespoke analyses on sales, margins, and inventory.
Oversee profitability for liquidation operations by tightly managing costs, pricing, and inventory efficiency.
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, ensuring consistency with commercial objectives and trading outcomes.
Provide financial expertise to operational and trading activities to promote data-driven decisions across all channels.
Assist with establishing and governing the financial aspects of a new strategic project to guarantee scalability and control from inception.
Identify risks and growth opportunities within trading results and recommend corrective strategies proactively.
Enhance and optimize financial processes to accommodate rapid, high-volume operational demands.
Present clear, actionable financial insights to senior stakeholders to influence strategy and execution.

Requirements

Possess a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Preferably hold a professional certification such as ACCA, CA, or CMA.
Have 3 to 5 years of finance experience, preferably in retail, trading, FMCG, or operations with high transaction volumes.
Strong grasp of profit and loss management, inventory accounting, and margin analysis.
Experience working in dynamic, commercially intensive environments with short operational cycles.
Ability to translate complex financial data into business-oriented, actionable insights.
Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with SAP and Looker is advantageous.
Proven capability to collaborate effectively with non-finance functions, particularly operations teams.
Comfortable operating in a hands-on role that demands execution amid ambiguity.
Experience in project management or launching new business initiatives.
Excellent communication skills with capability to influence and hold stakeholders accountable.
