Job Overview
Step forward in your retail merchandising career as a full-time Retail Merchandiser supporting in-store activities for a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client in the alcoholic beverages sector. This position involves executing various merchandising assignments such as stocking shelves, building displays, and ensuring product availability while maintaining store compliance with planograms.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out in-store merchandising tasks according to planograms and schematic designs, including store resets.
- Organize work priorities by reviewing call goals, following up on previous visits, and preparing necessary tools and materials to meet deadlines.
- Maintain promotional display standards, identify merchandising opportunities, resolve stock gaps and voids by replenishing shelves and displays, locate spaces for additional displays, install POS materials, monitor product freshness, and rotate inventory accordingly.
- Effectively liaise with store employees about merchandising tasks, sales initiatives, promotions, client objectives, and accomplishments.
- Deliver excellent customer service and foster strong working relationships with store staff to achieve company and client targets.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in merchandising or sales roles.
- Access to reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaborate with team members.
- Familiarity with basic computer software such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Physical stamina to lift 30 to 50 pounds and stand for lengthy periods.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
