F&B Service Trainee

About the Role

As an F&B Service Trainee at The Luxury Collection, you will play a key role in crafting memorable dining experiences for guests by providing personalized and attentive food and beverage service. This position is instrumental in delivering service that meets the high standards expected at luxury properties by engaging guests, offering food and drink recommendations, and ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage services adhering strictly to departmental and hospitality standards.
• Precisely take and process food orders.
• Set up tables and rooms appropriately in preparation for service.
• Communicate any guest issues, difficulties, or observations to supervisors promptly.
• Participate actively in scheduled training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Maintain impeccable grooming in line with hotel standards.
• Ensure cleanliness, polishing, sorting, and proper storage of outlet equipment following food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Engage guests in conversations about wines, guide on types and styles, and manage wine orders and service.
• Store food and beverage stock following hotel procedures to maintain quality and safety.
• Upsell and consistently replenish beverages while complying with responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Be knowledgeable about property safety protocols, first aid, fire and emergency procedures, and operate equipment responsibly and safely.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in restaurant food service.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
