Export Commercial Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Export Commercial Manager to join Jindal Stainless at our Gurugram location. The ideal candidate holds an MBA in Finance or Foreign Trade, or a CA with B.Com, and possesses 5 to 8 years of professional experience managing export sales, documentation, and trade finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payment allocation by reconciling invoices and sales orders with incoming remittances, coordinating official acknowledgment (OA) copies and debit notes to realize payments, ensuring accounting processes and clearing follow-ups, and tracking payments efficiently.
• Oversee debtors management including maintaining debtors' aging reports, collaborating with Key Account Managers (KAM) to ensure timely payments, closely monitoring overdue receivables, ensuring adherence to FEMA compliance and regularizing debit/credit notes.
• Prepare commercial and receivable MIS reports and handle other related activities as required.
• Maintain the customer master data by creating new customer codes after verifying and obtaining necessary approvals, updating payment terms, and managing the blocking or unblocking of customer accounts.
• Handle unutilized advances and regularization cases in banking and External Trade Transactions (ETX) applications by preparing relevant reports, settling invoice outstanding balances with credit notes, preparing RBI reportable documentation, and managing ETX forms along with securing necessary customer letters for bank applications.
• Manage commission-related activities including validating commission calculations, monitoring commission bills and payment realization against master invoices, and arranging physical shipping bills for payments.

Qualifications and Experience

• MBA specializing in Finance or Foreign Trade, or Chartered Accountant with B.Com
• 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience handling export sales, documentation, and trade finance operations
