Role Overview
As Events Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing event strategies to elevate Canary's brand visibility and market reach, particularly across EMEA and APAC regions. This role combines strategic planning and hands-on management of multiple events, focusing on driving customer and prospect engagement before, during, and after events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the event marketing strategy specifically targeting EMEA and APAC markets.
- Create and execute events aimed at generating demand, driving lead acquisition, and expanding the sales pipeline.
- Design detailed project plans for various events and related initiatives to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage coordination with external partners, including event managers and contractors, to facilitate smooth event operations.
- Foster robust collaboration with cross-department teams such as Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product to align event goals.
- Support achievement of program KPIs like registration rates, attendance, engagement levels, customer growth, and development of new business opportunities.
- Handle all aspects of event logistics, including the orchestration of marketing campaigns around events, encompassing emails and sales development representative activities.
- Leverage advanced event technologies, promotional materials, systems, and targeted marketing practices to enhance event effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years experience in event marketing roles.
- Preferably experience in demand generation for B2B technology companies.
- History of successfully organizing events within multiple countries.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, public relations, or related disciplines.
- Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Additional language fluency is advantageous.
- Highly detail-conscious and organized with excellent project management capabilities.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and similar technology platforms.
- A self-motivated and proactive working style.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits (EU)
The anticipated total cash compensation ranges from €84,000 to €100,000 annually, encompassing a fixed salary plus a performance-based monthly bonus. Additionally, the position includes a stock option grant subject to board approval. Final pay will be based on experience, skills, and location.
