Role Overview
The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for developing precise cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical proposals for cleanroom and HVAC systems especially for critical sector projects such as Semiconductor, Battery Manufacturing, and Solar Photovoltaic industries. The role involves thorough project requirement analysis to ensure cost efficiency while adhering to contamination control standards, supporting tendering activities, and aiding business development.
Key Duties
- Design HVAC and cleanroom systems tailored for high-tech, mission-critical projects like Semiconductor, Battery, and Solar sectors, performing heat load and airflow computation alongside contamination control evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with clients to accurately capture project specifications and strict cleanroom criteria.
- Develop comprehensive BOQs based on drawings and client input, emphasizing high-purity material and system quantification.
- Generate precise project cost breakdowns factoring in materials, labor, and overheads to prepare competitive proposals and bids.
- Engage actively in tender procedures ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 14644 and GMP where applicable.
- Work collaboratively with clients, vendors, marketing, execution, and purchasing teams to maintain alignment between estimation, project scope, timelines, and cleanroom classifications.
- Manage vendor relationships to negotiate pricing, technical specifications, and delivery conditions for cleanroom and HVAC equipment.
- Support marketing efforts in pre-bid and post-bid discussions by providing necessary technical guidance and clarifications.
- Maintain continual professional development by staying current on the latest cleanroom technologies and HVAC advancements relevant to Semiconductor, Battery, and Solar manufacturing environments.
Education & Eligibility
