ERP Implementation Consultant – Sage 200

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated ERP Implementation Consultant to become part of our team based in Nairobi, Kenya. This role involves deploying ERP and business software solutions at client sites, providing end-user support, and ensuring the successful adoption of systems. The position requires willingness for regular travel to various customer locations.

Key Duties

• Collect and comprehend client business requirements.
• Evaluate existing processes and suggest appropriate ERP workflows.
• Configure, set up, and launch ERP solutions.
• Assist in gathering, preparing, migrating, and validating data.
• Conduct training sessions for users and prepare comprehensive system documentation.
• Support clients through testing, system launch, and post-deployment phases.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to implementation and user experience.
• Collaborate with technical, support, and project teams to ensure project success.
• Manage implementation tasks independently and report progress regularly.
• Travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• About two years of experience implementing ERP, accounting, or business management software solutions.
• Preferably hands-on experience in software deployment within organizations.
• Strong understanding of business processes and ERP’s role in operational support.
• Experience with Sage 200 ERP or other recognized ERP systems is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of accounting concepts including sales, purchasing, inventory, receivables, payables, and general ledger.
• Capability to interpret client needs into system configurations.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and user training skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Eager to learn about new technologies, products, and business workflows.
• Available to travel frequently for client engagements.
