Key Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, cleaning, and validating data to maintain high-quality datasets.
• Support the creation of basic reports, dashboards, and data summaries for stakeholders.
• Document data processes and maintain data records organized and up to date.
• Collaborate with team members to understand business needs and translate them into straightforward analytical outputs.
• Monitor key performance metrics and identify issues in data accuracy or consistency.
• Contribute to improving data workflows and routines to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic experience in data handling, including collection, cleaning, and validation using spreadsheet software or entry-level analytics tools.
• Ability to interpret and produce simple charts, reports, and dashboards with attention to detail.
• Strong numerical and critical thinking skills to detect patterns, trends, and data quality problems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with colleagues.
• Organizational aptitude to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and document procedures systematically.
• Comfort working in a flexible hybrid setup, requiring presence on site in Sydney as well as remote work.
• Educational background in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related disciplines, including degree, diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with spreadsheet programs such as Excel or Google Sheets, and a keen interest in learning visualization or analytics platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
