Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our software development team. The successful candidate will play an active role in the design, development, and testing of AUTOSAR software components in line with ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards, collaborating closely with electronics and hardware teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, and test AUTOSAR software components following ASPICE and ISO 26262 methodologies and standards.
  • Partner with electronics and hardware departments to ensure compatibility and support for software requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive software requirements and support architecture design and development.
  • Produce detailed software design documents and develop C/C++ code compliant with MISRA and CERT standards.
  • Interface with MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow software developments.
  • Execute unit tests to validate software implementation and support issue analysis with corrective action plans.
  • Engage in software development life cycle activities such as SW-FMEA and DFA.
  • Participate in agile task planning and reporting.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • A minimum of five years of embedded software development experience.
  • Expertise in RTOS/BSW and device driver development (Flash, ADC, EEPROM, LIN, CANFD, SPI).
  • Proficient in embedded C/C++ programming and UML.
  • Experience developing embedded software for automotive electronic modules using 32-bit multicore microcontrollers, such as Infineon Aurix TC3xx and TI TM570.
  • Knowledge of Python programming.
  • Familiarity with SPI, CAN, CANFD, J1939, UDS, and XCP communication protocols.
  • Experience adhering to formal V-cycle software development processes.
  • Desirable knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards and embedded system testing with SIL and PIL.
  • Understanding of motor control theory is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tools like Polarion, MATLAB/Simulink including toolboxes, Jira, Azure Git, CMake, Artifactory, Polyspace, VectorCAST, LauterBach Debugger, and automotive communication tools such as Vector Canape, CANalyzer/CANoe, and CANdela is a plus.
