Responsibilities

• Conduct full-stack development of scalable web applications utilizing the PETAL stack (Phoenix, Elixir, Tailwind, AlpineJS, LiveView), managing all layers from database to frontend.
• Maintain high code quality by producing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, applying best practices including Clean Code principles, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration.
• Take ownership of developing, maintaining, and enhancing our software products, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and ongoing improvement.
• Proactively analyze complex technical challenges to develop effective, innovative solutions and identify potential issues early.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in full-stack development with an emphasis on the PETAL stack, with additional value placed on product responsibility experience.
• Strong expertise in Elixir, Phoenix, Tailwind, AlpineJS, and LiveView technologies, including experience implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Passion for writing clean code, comprehensive understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and other clean coding practices.
• Appreciation for open communication, autonomy, and collaboration; ability to quickly integrate into existing teams and positively influence team dynamics.
• Analytical thinker, capable of independently resolving complex technical problems.
• Commitment to continuous learning and skill development, with a readiness to embrace new technologies and methodologies.
