Role Overview
The Early Careers Specialist plays a critical role in aligning early career recruiting initiatives with business priorities by acquiring high-quality interns, co-ops, and development trainees. This role requires building strong relationships with business leaders, HR partners, and university liaisons to design and implement recruiting strategies that reflect Nestlé’s culture and values. The specialist supports and executes event strategies both onsite and virtually, fostering a positive candidate experience and strengthening Nestlé’s talent pipeline.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive recruitment life cycle activities from talent attraction to employee orientation.
- Plan and execute diverse recruiting events such as on-site, virtual, and digital activities, including hiring events, super days, interview sessions, networking opportunities, and orientation programs.
- Maintain compliance and accuracy in applicant tracking and requisition management processes.
- Collaborate with business partners to define and identify targeted talent profiles supporting the company’s winning strategies.
- Lead recruiting strategy sessions, conduct final round interviews, and coordinate consensus meetings.
- Act as the main liaison for all candidate interactions during decision-making and selection phases.
- Cultivate partnerships with university contacts and internal stakeholders to ensure excellent candidate engagement at recruiting events.
- Handle logistics related to event scheduling, registration, presentations, and resource coordination.
- Participate in special recruiting projects and contribute to building a sustainable talent pipeline.
Talent Acquisition Partnership and Collaboration
- Work with program leaders and Talent Acquisition teams to tailor recruiting plans addressing business hiring needs.
- Engage HR teams to identify candidates aligned with Nestlé’s culture and ethos, ensuring diversity and high achievement.
- Advise internal and external stakeholders regarding college and university employment trends.
- Develop and maintain relationships with university career centers, professors, and campus influencers in line with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with recruitment marketing and communications teams to enhance recruiting events and employer brand initiatives.
- Create compelling event messaging, presentations, promotional materials, and candidate communications reinforcing Nestlé’s employment value proposition.
Strategic Planning and Evaluation
- Develop and update strategic campus playbooks incorporating on-campus and digital initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Support formulation and delivery of annual recruiting event plans to meet Early Careers hiring targets.
- Analyze feedback from recruiting events to identify improvements enhancing candidate experience and recruiting effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- At least three years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or a similar field.
- Experience recruiting at large national or global organizations is preferred.
- Proven success in managing key business relationships.
- Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, assessment, applicant tracking, offer management, and candidate relationship management.
- Demonstrated experience organizing recruiting, university relations, or talent engagement events in both virtual and in-person formats.
- Consultative approach with ability to manage expectations and business partner relationships effectively.
- Talent pipeline development skills including sourcing passive candidates and leveraging diverse recruitment channels.
- Proficiency using applicant tracking systems and social/digital media for talent selection support.
- Ability to manage competing demands with adaptability and flexibility.
- Strong project management, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Capability to gain respect and influence among leadership.
- Negotiation and influencing skills with business and HR teams.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends and actionable insights.
- Demonstrated quick learning of systems, processes, and procedures.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of time.

Salary range is estimated between $84,000 and $100,000 annually, with final compensation dependent on individual qualifications and location. Nestlé offers performance incentives along with a competitive benefits package including 401k with company match and healthcare coverage.
