Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Peterborough for a Door Canvasser. The role involves visiting residential streets, starting friendly conversations with homeowners, and introducing Window Nation LTD’s home improvement products and services. The canvasser will explain available options, respond to basic queries, collect contact details, and arrange appointments for the sales team.
Key Duties
The position requires working assigned routes, carrying out door-to-door outreach, and keeping up with daily and weekly contact goals. You will also log interactions accurately in the company’s systems, collaborate with the local team, and take part in regular training. The successful candidate will represent the business professionally in every customer-facing interaction.
Qualifications
Applicants should have solid door-to-door canvassing or similar field-based outreach experience, along with strong communication and people skills. The ability to build quick rapport, speak confidently and clearly, and deliver respectful customer service is essential. A willingness to learn through training and feedback is also important.
Helpful additions include knowledge of home improvement products, some background in sales or lead generation, and comfort working outdoors in changing weather. Reliable transport to and from the Peterborough area, good punctuality, and flexibility to work some evenings and weekends are preferred.
