Role Overview

This position offers an exciting chance for an experienced Dispatch Officer to become a vital part of a dynamic and successful production team. Reporting to the Fleet Management Supervisor, the role involves collaborating closely with Production Supervisors and Coordinators to optimize equipment allocation and prioritize resources effectively in line with planned targets. The Dispatch Officer will maintain ongoing surveillance of the mining fleet, ensuring that precise, real-time operational data is available at all times. Coordination with Production, Technical Services, and Maintenance teams is essential for gathering, verifying, and reporting production metrics. Responsibilities also include overseeing communication systems such as radio, geological radar, operator alertness, and equipment precision technologies.

Candidate Profile

Successful candidates will bring prior experience handling large mining machinery and be proficient with Fleet Management Software including Dispatch 6, ProVision 3, and Terrain. Computer literacy must be strong to manage digital tracking and data reporting. Candidates need proven leadership, effective communication, and interpersonal skills. A thorough understanding of risk assessment and safe work procedures is necessary, alongside the ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team. Industry experience and relevant qualifications are essential. Commitment to fostering a positive safety culture and workplace atmosphere aligned with company values is expected. The role requires effective liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.
