You will collaborate closely with our Chief Product Officer to develop features from initial concepts through flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure excellence in Chariot's web application and overall user experience.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams from ideation to release.
- Create refined, accessible, and high-performing interfaces using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Convert Figma designs into precise, polished user interfaces, enhancing them during implementation.
- Develop and maintain reusable components and design systems.
- Lead efforts to enhance usability, performance, accessibility, and frontend architecture.
- Rapidly prototype concepts and utilize AI tools to speed development, testing, and evaluation.
- Work cross-functionally with backend teams when necessary to optimize the product experience.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in building contemporary web applications.
- Strong frontend engineering expertise with refined product and design intuition.
- Detail-oriented approach focusing on typography, spacing, hierarchy, accessibility, responsiveness, browser inconsistencies, performance, and interactive design.
- Advanced proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experienced in working with Figma and skilled in producing production-quality UI from designs.
- Willingness to engage with backend components when beneficial to the product.
- A strong sense of ownership capable of bringing ideas to high-quality completion.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or the Go programming language is advantageous.
