Role Overview
As the Deputy Manager - Electrical at Adani Power located in Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh, you will lead the electrical maintenance team responsible for ensuring the high reliability and availability of all electrical equipment and systems within the power plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the electrical maintenance team to maintain maximum operational availability and reliability of electrical systems.
- Develop and enforce preventive and predictive maintenance plans aimed at reducing downtime and prolonging equipment lifespan.
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and testing of critical electrical infrastructure such as switchgear, transformers, motors, and control panels.
- Ensure complete adherence to safety protocols, electrical codes, and statutory compliance to promote a secure working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Operations teams to diagnose and resolve intricate electrical challenges.
- Enhance power efficiency and optimize electrical system performance through analytical data assessment and adopting cutting-edge technologies.
- Manage budgets, procurement processes, and vendor relationships concerning electrical equipment and services.
- Prepare and assess technical documents, reports, and compliance paperwork for audits and inspections.
- Guide and nurture junior engineers and technicians by conducting regular training and performance evaluations.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives by integrating best practices in electrical system management aligned with Adani’s commitment to operational excellence and innovation.
- Participate in strategic planning and execution of plant modernization projects, including integration of renewable energy solutions.
- Maintain strict quality standards and support the organization’s sustainability initiatives by promoting energy-efficient technologies.
- Respond promptly and effectively to electrical emergencies to restore operations swiftly and safely.
- Promote a collaborative work culture that fosters knowledge sharing and team engagement.

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized university is required.
