Key Duties
- Drive a reliable vehicle to deliver pizza orders promptly and safely.
- Operate store equipment as needed.
- Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage and workspaces.
- Prepare food products and assist with orders.
- Answer and process telephone orders accurately.
- Manage inventory and complete related paperwork.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities regularly.
Communication and Essential Skills
- Understand and follow written instructions correctly.
- Effectively communicate with customers and team members in person and over the phone.
- Quick and accurate arithmetic skills for handling money and making change.
- Proficient motor coordination for fast, precise movements.
- Ability to use a computer or touchscreen to enter orders.
Work Environment and Conditions
- Exposure to varying weather during outside tasks such as trash removal.
- Work areas range in temperature from cold coolers (36°F) to hot kitchen zones (90°F+).
- Sudden temperature changes between inside and outdoors.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot oven surfaces up to 500°F.
- Working in confined spaces including walk-in coolers.
- Handling sharp tools and moving machinery parts safely.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Valid driver’s license held for at least 2 years with a safe driving record.
- Reliable vehicle and proof of car insurance for deliveries.
- Ability to navigate using maps including complex locations such as multi-story buildings.
