Role Overview

This role offers a distinct chance to join a growing team as a Quantitative Researcher. You will collaborate closely with experts in data science, engineering, technology, and data sourcing to identify and investigate new sector-specific or broad financial alphas through a solid grasp of fundamental analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a structured research plan that integrates fundamental expertise, data analysis, and quantitative methodologies.
  • Develop domain expertise in fundamental topics related to your research focus, pinpointing critical information drivers.
  • Perform extensive data analysis to thoroughly understand datasets used in alpha generation; enrich multiple structured and unstructured data sources to support quantitative investigations.
  • Adopt a process-driven methodology to comprehend the driving factors behind your alphas' value.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in financial research.
  • Proven ability to derive insights from large and complex datasets using SQL and Python; familiarity with alternative data is advantageous.
  • Strong financial knowledge demonstrated by passing at least Level I of the CFA program or possessing equivalent qualifications such as an MBA or accounting background.
  • Well-versed in various valuation techniques and approaches.
  • Experience with time series analysis and modeling.
  • High proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities in finance and investment domains.
  • Experience with financial research platforms like Bloomberg and Reuters is preferred.
