Data Scientist

Overview

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing high-quality decision-making intelligence products by leveraging advanced analytics and statistical techniques. Your role involves transforming complex, multi-source datasets into reliable and monetizable offerings that serve customer needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, validate, and sustain predictive and prescriptive models focused on travel, risk, and geographical data domains.
• Utilize statistical methodologies, machine learning algorithms, and experimental approaches to enhance data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Create domain-specific performance indicators, benchmarks, and risk evaluation frameworks.
• Interpret customer challenges and market demands to craft analytical solutions and data-driven products.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define product value propositions, inform pricing strategies, and establish success metrics.
• Assist in prioritizing the product roadmap considering impact, technical feasibility, and revenue potential.
• Set data quality standards, validation protocols, and implement systems for anomaly detection.
• Ensure compliance with privacy requirements, consent mandates, and ethical AI guidelines, especially within regulated sectors.
• Maintain traceability, explainability, and audit readiness of analytical models and outputs.
• Work alongside Data Engineers to guarantee dependable, model-ready data pipelines.
• Partner with Machine Learning Engineers to deploy models effectively at scale.
• Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

• Seven to eight or more years of professional experience in applied data science roles.
• Expertise in Python programming, SQL querying, and machine learning libraries.
• Ability to convert data insights into compelling and understandable narratives.
• Proven track record in delivering data products directly impacting customers and generating revenue.

Educational Background

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• A Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, or a closely connected field.
