Data Entry Analyst

The Data Entry Analyst position is a part-time, remote opportunity focused on keeping company records accurate, current, and reliable across internal systems and databases.

What you will do

• Enter new information, update existing records, and verify data inside company tools and databases.
• Gather information from both internal teams and outside sources.
• Review records for missing details, inconsistencies, and general completeness.
• Carry out basic checks to maintain data quality and consistency.
• Structure datasets and prepare short reports or summaries when needed.
• Assist with more advanced data analysis tasks under supervision.
• Work with teammates to understand data needs and resolve questions.
• Record data-related issues and share ideas for improving collection and maintenance processes.

Required background

• Good analytical ability to spot patterns, compare information, and identify mismatches.
• Some exposure to data analytics, datasets, or business metrics through study or practical work.
• Basic knowledge of statistics to support validation and simple analysis.
• Ability to organize information logically, including familiarity with basic data modeling ideas.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
• Comfort using spreadsheets and data entry tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or similar software.
• Careful work style, strong attention to detail, and respect for confidentiality and data quality.
• Self-management skills for working independently in a remote setup and meeting deadlines.
• Prior experience in data entry, data support, or entry-level analytics is beneficial.
• Education in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or a similar area, or equivalent hands-on experience.
