Role overview
This remote contract position is focused on Excel-based data analysis and on supporting the training of next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world input. The assignment does not require prior AI experience; the key requirement is strong domain knowledge and the ability to turn data into useful insights.
What you'll do
- Use Microsoft Excel to examine data in depth and turn findings into practical insights that support decisions across teams.
- Work with project stakeholders to understand their data needs and convert them into useful analysis.
- Check, clean, and validate datasets so they remain accurate, consistent, and reliable.
- Create concise reports and visuals that communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Spot trends, outliers, and improvement opportunities in complex datasets to support strategic work.
- Record analysis methods, outcomes, and recommendations with strong attention to detail.
- Bring analytical expertise to improve data-led decision-making within the client's team.
What you need
- Hands-on experience doing business data analysis with Microsoft Excel as the main working tool.
- Excellent accuracy and care when handling data and preparing reports.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills for explaining analytical results clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams to support business goals.
- Good command of Excel formulas, functions, and data visualization features.
