Dark Store Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dark Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our dark store facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role involves comprehensive management of various supply chain activities ensuring efficient order processing, inventory management, and team coordination to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily dark store functions including receipt, storage, order picking, packing, dispatch, and handling of returns.
• Lead and direct the workforce comprising pickers, packers, loaders, and support staff to achieve operational goals.
• Maintain order fulfillment standards, adhere to SLAs, boost productivity, and ensure precise inventory control.
• Monitor workforce attendance, plan manpower effectively, and evaluate team performance metrics.
• Implement stringent inventory controls following FIFO/FEFO principles, manage expiry dates, and minimize shrinkage.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as safety, security, hygiene, and housekeeping guidelines.
• Analyze operational data and institute corrective measures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders for seamless operations.
• Manage operations during peak business periods to maintain continuous service delivery.

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of professional experience in Quick Commerce, E-commerce, Warehouse, Retail, or Logistics operations.
• Proven expertise in handling large teams and managing high-volume operational environments.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with operational key performance indicators.
• Availability and readiness to work in shift patterns as required.
