Key Responsibilities

• Conduct standard Tier I operations including wafer measurements.
• Perform preventative maintenance and wet cleaning tasks independently, assisting senior engineers with corrective maintenance when necessary.
• Disassemble, clean, and rebuild kits to maintain quality in kit management.
• Learn and apply diagnostic methods, utilizing documentation and testing tools under guidance from senior staff.
• Identify and resolve fundamental technical issues.
• Adhere to best known methods and intellectual property guidelines, utilizing knowledge management systems.
• Represent Applied Materials positively to customers, demonstrating professionalism and superior customer service skills.
• Maintain an organized workspace and display a positive attitude, even in challenging customer situations.
• Follow all safety procedures rigorously, valuing safety in all activities.

Additional Job Requirements

• The role is physically demanding, involving extensive walking, prolonged standing, working in confined areas, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in noisy environments, which may affect those sensitive to sound.
• Usage of hand and power tools is required.
• Work is typically performed in a clean room setting, necessitating personal protective equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
