Role overview
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will join a global support team focused on providing quick, polished, and genuinely helpful service. The role is centered on helping customers get the most out of the Timely platform and supporting them as they use it to run their businesses successfully.
What you'll do
- Handle customer questions and issues through phone, email, chat, and social media, with most interactions happening over live calls.
- Use strong questioning and investigation skills to diagnose problems and work toward the right solution, even when the situation is not fully clear at the start.
- Support customers in a way that reflects the value of the Timely platform and look for chances to improve the service experience.
- Go beyond basic support by helping customers use technology more effectively in their daily work.
- Collaborate with teammates, take initiative, and learn from others to keep improving team performance.
What you need
- Previous technical support experience with a SaaS company; experience in the beauty or wellness sector is an added advantage.
- Strong spoken communication skills and confidence in resolving problems live over the phone.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, easy-to-understand language.
- Calm, careful judgement when dealing with stressful or sensitive customer situations.
- A proactive, fast-moving, accurate, and empathetic working style.
- Comfort working independently without close supervision.
- Willingness to work rostered hours to support customers by phone.
- Experience using support tools such as Zendesk and workplace apps like Slack.
Work arrangement and location
This is a permanent full-time role that can be based anywhere in Victoria, Australia. The position is remote-friendly, and you can work from home or from the office depending on where you are most productive.
